Selestat is a moderately sized town of 20,000 people residing in the Alsace region of France along its eastern border on the Ill River. It is one of the
larger towns near the Alsace wine route - not on it, but near enough for a quick visit. Nearby is the ever-popular Koenigsbourg Castle and a multitude
of beautiful small villages scattered amongst rolling hills covered with vineyards. Selestat is home to two very old churches - Ste. Foy (also
known as St. Faith's), some of which dates back to the 11th century, and St. Georges, which dates back to the 15th century. I hope you enjoy
these photos of Selestat. You might also try viewing them via the Slideshow.
