The very scenic and pleasant little village of Kientzheim has preserved much of its midieval character. It still has ancient defensive walls still standing as well
as some of its old village gates. The town is situated near many of the very attractive Alsatian villages that are famous for producing wine and lie along a
stretch of country road known as the "wine road". Virtually all of these villages in this region are worth a morning or afternoon visit for a stop at a cafe to
