This desert tortoise was photographed in The Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. He didn't seem particularly alarmed by my presence, something that surprised me given that I'm sure it hadn't encountered too many humans - at least not where I found him. I was pretty far back in the hills away from frequented trails. |
